Your center vase can be personalized with a beautiful, hand made, sandcarved image for $49.99. Sandcarving is an art form where an image is sandblasted into a glass object. Unlike engraving, the sandcarving process provides a unique, full and deep design. As you rub your fingers against the glass, you can feel the depth that has been achieved by this unique art form.
You may find lots of places that are able to engrave a design. Engraving is best for flat surfaces on metal or wood, but engraving cannot create a deep image in glass, especially on round surfaces. Sandcarving can. And sandcarving is truly unique. You’ll spend the same amount of money for engraving (or perhaps even more), but you’ll be much happier with the sandcarving process.
For your personalization on your set, artwork for your names and wedding date is created, the design is then transferred to a ‘mask’ and placed upon your vase. The design is then sandcarved into the glass by hand, cleaned, packaged and ready for your wedding day. Your names and wedding date will be forever etched on your center container, signifying the day when your two lives were joined as one. You give us your names and wedding date and we’ll do the rest. To order your set personalization for $49.99 type your names and wedding date in the "Names and Date" box, choose the font type (see below for examples) you would like from the drop-down menu in the "Font" box and click the "Add To Cart" button. To have additional names sandcarved on the center vase or pouring containers, go to the "Additional Names" below the font selections and add to cart for each name you would like engraved.
